The Green Economics Institute has been made aware of various claims, on going cybercrime currently being attempted, invoices, false associations, correspondences,  and unauthorized certificates bearing its name ( s)  and logo, documents, false proofs of association –or previous invoices diversion to other  companies, serious criminal data hacking, and blackmail, being offered and  circulated via e-mail, from Internet web sites, text messages and via regular mail or facsimile, falsely stating that they are issued by, or in association with the Green Economics Institute and/or its officials. These are scams, which may seek to obtain money for services, from the recipients of such correspondence, are identity theft,  and  we at  The Green Economics Institute are working with the police and anti fraud agencies at the moment to ensure our systems and data are secure.

The Green Economics Institute wishes to warn the public at large about fraudulent activities being perpetrated purportedly in the name of the Organisation, and/or its officials, through different fraud schemes.

• The Green Economics does not ever put its certificates on the web nor does it ever offer its certificates blank by email to anyone. Should you have seen such a certificate, it is certainly unauthorized and therefore part of a scam and you should not under any circumstances pay money for it -nor pay anyone else money for such unauthorised certificates. Our certificates are only ever offered on paper and given in person in every case. 
• Should you see our certificates being offered blank by email or on any website please report it to the authorities, as this is an identify theft from us.
• Should you be asked for such money to pay for such an internship by any third party, please do not pay for it and do not under any circumstances pay even more to any third party for any more services.
• If you have already paid someone else for such an internship with us- and have not received it- this is likely to be a  scam.
• We do  however now offer direct work experience and writing coaching programmes directly not through a third party- only directly.
• The Green Economics Institute does not offer emailed prizes, awards, funds, certificates, automated teller machine (ATM) cards, compensation for Internet fraud, or scholarships, or conduct lotteries.
• Nor does it ever help people get into any University without the candidate proving unequivocably that they have done the pre requisite work and that our academic team adjudicates that  have reached the required standard in all respects. This usually involves a large amount of high quality writing, analysis and speaking over a long period of time under supervision of our specialists.  Their word is final and it is not often given.

The Green Economics Institute strongly recommends that the recipients of solicitations, such as those described above exercise extreme caution in respect of such solicitations. Financial loss and identity theft could result from the transfer of money or personal information to those issuing such fraudulent correspondence. Victims of such scams may also report them to their local law enforcement authorities for appropriate action.
