The Green Economics Institute is and always has been characterised by diversity, inclusion, accessibility and we celebrate and enjoy our diversity of all kinds and we are all non standard people and believe it makes our work and our innovation much stronger and more effective. We try to be the voices of the world.
We have zero tolerance of violence, discrimination, bias and understand the effect of racism and injustice, discrimination in the lifecycles of all of us and lack of economic opportunity, health and safety and life and health outcomes.
Most crimes in the 20th and 21st Centuries have been done under the law. This MUST stop. The law must protect every community and stop picking on black people. Today. Extrajudicial killing. All of it must stop. Violence.
Looking at the data, any more people of colour dying as a result of the pandemic and police killing unarmed people.
Every child should have the same life chances as every other child.
Additionally we know that economic investment is not equally allocated, safety, respect and many other life opportunities are not equally given or shared.
George Floyd and Eric Garner and many many many more…
We honour their memory and pledge to work harder to stop this happening any more.
